A First-Birthday Poem for Princess Lanie
Lanie is now one, but her laughter and love are rated Top Ten.
Angelic flyer, thanks to her daddy’s hold, Lanie flaps her arms like a ginny wren.
Nap time, night time, or company time–
Lanie gives her royal wave, smiles, and says “bye-bye.”
Is that the princess-mobile with Lanie’s little hands gripping the steering wheel?
Eating her princess cupcake made by her mommy,
Lanie says “mum-mum” and wants more;
and we want much more time to visit entertaining, lovable Lanie.
