Welcome to Alice’s Wordwalk

Welcome to Alice’s Wordwalk

Since I initiated my blog on January 19, 2013, I have been pleased to welcome to this site so many relatives, friends, and readers from across the miles.  Now, I want you to know that I welcome you also to this intersection of “Alice Avenue” and “Memory Lane.”  Through your reading along my Wordwalk, you will find a wide variety of posts–essays, memoirs, educational materials, and poems.  You will find that some of my favorite topics are my Italian-American family, my rural hometown in Indiana, my three guide dogs, nature, and the craft of writing.

I hope that, when you have time, you will comment on my blog or give one of my posts a “like.”  Finding an old friend or becoming acquainted with a new reader is part of what makes blogging enjoyable.

By clicking on “follow,” you will be able to receive each of my posts in your e-mail box.  Otherwise, I invite you to return to Wordwalk often to read my weekly blog, which most frequently, I post each Wednesday.

With many thanks for reading my blog,

Alice Massa

I believe the pool opened in 1922. I have poster that says it was 200 feet long. Hope this helps.
